Antibacterial Finishing Agent 44340
Product Description
44340 is mainly composed of quaternary ammonium salt compound.
The cationic antibacterial groups can form positive electric field on the surface of fiber to absorb negative charged fungus.
The antibacterial groups act on the cell membrane of bacteria, causing cell membrane defect and increasing permeability. It makes cytoplasm content leak and also impedes protein synthesis of bacteria, which results in the depletion of ribosomes in bacteria and causes the bacteria to die.
The antibacterial groups also selectively act on ergosterols in cell membranes of fungus to change the membrane permeability, which results in the depletion of important substance in cell and causes the fungus to die.
It can be applied in the antibacterial finishing process for various kinds of fabrics of cotton, polyester, nylon, wool, polyester/ cotton, nylon/ cotton and viscose fiber, etc.
